Lightstick Reportedly Removed From YouTube Store For The Most Unexpected Reason

Time to call customer service.

Last year, Korean hip-hop group Epik High shocked and amused netizens with the release of their first lightstick, titled “Park Kyu Bong,” a playful pun that sounds like “F*ck You Bong” in Korean, embodying a rebellious spirit that resonates with the group’s music and ethos. It’s even shaped like a hand flipping the middle finger!

Unfortunately, according to Epik High’s official TikTok account, the lightstick was removed from the YouTube store. It’s not for the reason you’d expect, though.

According to a screenshot of a conversation between two individuals, Google thinks that the lightstick is a “bong” for marijuana.

Still, it’s excellent marketing, no matter what.
