Eric Nam Becomes First Korean Artist To Perform At “Music Midtown” Festival And Gives Fans A Listen Of New Music
Previously, it was reported that Korean American solo artist Eric Nam would be joining big names in the music industry, including Maroon 5, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, and 21 Savage, for the highly anticipated festival 2021 Music Midtown in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.
Music Midtown 2021 is a two-day concert event held in Piedmont Park, Atlanta, from September 18-19, 2021. Now, Eric Nam has successfully performed and has made history by becoming the first-ever Korean artist to perform at the festival.

His brother and manager Eddie Nam shared a couple of moments from Eric preparing for the historic moment on his social media. It’s safe to say he’s a proud bro!

While Eric Nam performed some of his classic hits like “Come Through,” he also shared some new music, a special treat for fans in attendance. He sang “I Don’t Know You Anymore,” which was the first time performing it as it won’t officially be released until October.

That wasn’t the only new song he performed either. “Wildfire” has fans anticipating the rest of the album.

He also sang some previously released songs like “Down For You” for the first time since his last album, The Other Side, released during the pandemic. He sang an English version of the song, which we didn’t know we needed until now…

His setlist was a full concert experience for those in attendance. It included fans’ favorites “Come Through, “Don’t Call Me,” “Runaway,” Down For You, “Love Die You,” “Potion,” “Honestly,” “Congratulations,” and more. His newer songs like “Echo,” a collaboration with Armaan Malik and KSHMR was also included along with never before heard songs “I Don’t Know You Anymore” and “Wildfire.”
Additionally, he sang a medley of pop songs “good 4 u” by Olivia Rodrigo and “Peaches” by Justin Bieber.

This was Eric’s first show in 18 months, and he did amazing like no time had passed at all since his last show. Though it was at a festival, it felt like a true Eric Nam concert. We can’t wait for his next tour in 2022!
