Netizens Slam Esquire Magazine For Capitalizing On aespa’s Karina And Lee Jae Wook’s Relationship
It was recently reported that aespa’s Karina is in a relationship with actor Lee Jae Wook. The pair was outed by Dispatch. It was reported by a source close to them that they fell in love during the Prada Menswear show in January 2024. Both were invited to the event and met each other for the first time there.
After the news broke out, Esquire Korea quickly released footage of the pair taken by the magazine at the show. Despite the show being a month prior, the magazine took the chance to release the footage while the iron was hot.
They captioned the video “Prada lovers, behind-the-scenes with Karina and Lee Jae Wook.”

While some understood that the magazine was only doing their job, others criticized it for angering fans. Fans are not upset about the relationship, but are worried for the two, as their relationship was outed just as it was blossoming. It has barely been a month since the two first met at the show.
