Eun Ji Won returning as a solo artist with new album this June
Former leader of Sechs Kies and now an active entertainer Eun Ji Won will be making a comeback as an solo artist in June.
Since the release on “Anyone” in 2012, it has been two and a half years since Eun Ji Won last made an appearance as a solo singer.
According to his agency, G.Y.M Entertainment, both the digital source and music video of the upcoming track “What U Are” will be released on June 1st altogether, giving rise to much excitement from fans to his music production in a long time.
“What U Are” is a collaboration product of Eun Ji Won with members of project group Clover, Gilme and Mr. Tyfoon, revealing the close bonding of the trio. Gilme also took part as a feature in the music video and background vocals, showing her support for the upcoming comeback of Eun Ji Won.
Moreover, through his official SNS account, Eun Ji Won teased fans with unreleased photos that caught fans’ attention. The photos show another side from the “black charisma” image he used to hold while his time as the leader of Sechs Kies.
The music industry can greatly anticipate Eun Ji Won’s comeback as he will showcase his personal charms as a senior singer against popular juniors such as BIGBANG, EXO and Lee Seung Gi.
Meanwhile, Eun Ji Won is currently active in variety shows including SBS‘s Laws of the Jungle and JTBC‘s I’m Going to School.
The full tracks of the remaining album will be released on June 8th on music sites.
