The health of the members is mentioned more than once throughout the entire legal document, and it is revealed that the members were encouraged not to eat and were fed very little. This, combined with the alleged verbal abuse the group suffered, had negative effects on the members’ mental health.

The lawsuit states that one member’s mental health was so badly affected that she developed a “deep eating disorder” that culminated in a suicide attempt. The attempt took place in February 2024, with the member swallowing 42 NyQuil pills and uncontrollably vomiting the following morning as a result.

KG and the other members were said to have expressed concerns to JYP staff months before but were not met with any concern — instead, they were told that eating disorders were common.

VCHA were instructed to lie about the member’s disappearance, and the event was written off as “food poisoning.” The individual tasked with making sure JYP followed child labor laws did not know the true reason for the disappearance and even addressed fans’ concerns at one point.

Based on the timeline presented by KG, some fans have speculated that the member in question is Kaylee. Kaylee was announced to be on hiatus in March 2024 and has not yet returned to the group, who are presently inactive.
