EXO's Baekhyun Speaks Up On Taking Out Loans To Set Up His Own Company, I&B100

It was recently revealed that EXO‘s Baekhyun had set up the company I&B100. He has the full blessing of SM Entertainment.

At this stage, the company has already established Baekhyun has the CEO, with appointed internal directors. The company was set up on June 23, 2023. There is one thing unique about his company. Although Baekhyun is a highly successful star, it was reported that he took out loans of ₩13.0 billion KRW (about $9.91 million USD) to set up I&B100. Baekhyun spoke up about the matter, reasoning why he chose to take out loans.

I took out the loan because of a promise I made to myself. I took it out with the meaning that I should never neglect the operations after setting up my own company, and to always live with that pressure.

According to the registered papers, I&B100 is a multi-entertainment company that will take care of various roles including production, business administration, investment, and consulting.
