EXO’s Baekhyun Shares Photo After Shaving His Head Ahead Of Enlistment
EXO‘s Baekhyun shared a photo with fans ahead of his enlistment.
Baekhyun posted the update for fans on Instagram. He captioned the photo, “D-1 I’ll go (serve) and return safely.”
Fellow idols and friends have been sending their support to him too. Super Junior‘s Yesung commented, “Go and come back safely.” His fellow EXO member Lay also sent him well wishes during an Instagram Live.
Baekhyun had shaved his head at Bit & Boot, a hair and makeup salon, in preparation for leaving for the military. He posted the photo of himself wearing a cap. However, fans could tell his hair was gone.

Baekhyun previously announced that he would leave on his birthday, May 6. During his honorary birthday live broadcast on May 1, he revealed that he would be shaving his head in four days, and he is certainly a man of his words. He said, “I will shave my head, and if I look okay, I will show you. If I don’t, just remember that I was shocked.”

Today, EXO-Ls celebrate Baekhyun’s birthday as well as wishing him well for his enlistment. He is now the sixth EXO member to enlist in the military. Xiumin and D.O. have completed their enlistment while Chen, Suho, and Chanyeol are currently serving.
