EXO's Kai Holds The Record For The Most #1's For A Solo EP In iTunes History

EXO Kai‘s first mini-album, KAI, has just broken the record for most number 1’s for a solo EP in iTunes history! The album reached the top of the Worldwide Album chart in 73 countries, which is the most a soloist EP has ever gotten.

Before Kai, Selena Gomez‘s “Revelación” held the record for a solo EP with 45 Number 1’s on iTunes. Selena Gomez’s fans did not know anyone had beat her, however, so EXO-L’s kindly informed them, and they grew to love Kai as well! The fandoms now formed a beautiful friendship.

Based on recent charts, it appears that EXO‘s members dominate the top 4 spots of most number 1’s for solo EPs. Kai is at the top, with Baekhyun and Suho following closely behind.
