Kai and Sehun are expected to be discharged on February 10, 2025, and September 20, 2025, respectively. Naturally, EXO-Ls are anticipating the group all coming together again.
Now, EXO-Ls have hope of an OT9 reunion.
Lay Zhang recently appeared on a Bilibili Livestream, “Using music to tell stories. ” One moment stood out, going viral with over 431K views at the time of writing.

In the clip, Lay teased that he and the other EXO members are in talks to reunite in September or October of 2025 (probably after Sehun returns). He emphasized that nothing is confirmed yet, though.

Still, it is enough to excite EXO-Ls. Fans are filled with hope and manifesting a full group reunion.
While Lay hasn’t been promoting with EXO since 2017, he has technically remained a part of the team. His 2022 departure from SM Entertainment should not affect the group, as more members have left the agency than not now.
