EXO Makes History as 5x Million Sellers & are the First to Reach 10 Million Sales this Millennium
EXO has made history once again with their latest album “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo”.
Just ten days after the album was released EXO officially sold 1,179,997 copies making them quintuple million sellers.
EXO’s 1st full-length album “XOXO” was the first album that broke a 12-year “million seller” drought in the industry. Since then, every full-length album that EXO has released has sold a million copies.
As a result, EXO is now the first Korean artist to sell 10 million albums after the year 2000, confirmed by Gaon Charts.
This is a combination of all of their 5 full-length albums, 2 mini-albums and 4 winter special albums.
Their latest album has also topped iTunes Top Albums in 47 countries, the United World Chart, China’s China Xiami Music Top Chart, and domestic streaming charts as well.
“Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” also debuted at No.23 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, the highest ever for EXO and the 2nd highest ever for any K-pop group.
