EXO‘s Chen proves that he is as hard working as he is talented by furthering his studies in graduate school.
Although it is not uncommon for idols to attend universities while being active as an artist, not many move on to higher education and attend graduate school as well. In spite of his extremely full schedule, Chen has will be attending Hanyang Cyber University, where he will take online classes in pursuit of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in advertising and media. Chen hopes that his studies will be an asset to the future of EXO. Suho, Chanyeol, and Baekhyun are also attending a virtual university called Kyung Hee Cyber University and are taking online classes from the Culture and Arts Department of Business Administration.
To publicly announce his acceptance into graduate school, Chen filmed a congratulatory video that was shown at the entrance ceremony for his fellow classmates who were also accepted. In the video, he encouraged his fellow classmates and pledged to improve himself as he learns more.
