In a recent interview, Kang Tae Oh appeared on MBC FM4U and spilled what his kiss with costar Park Eun Bin was really like.
When asked about the iconic scene, Kang Tae Oh explained that the setting made filming tough and that he was already nervous, which impacted how it was filmed.
We shot that scene late in the night at an apartment alley, so we had to be careful. Because it was a kiss scene, I was very nervous. I treated Eun Bin noona sweeter than usual.

Luckily, as Park Eun Bin is older than Kang Tae Oh, the actor revealed that she took control of the scene and helped create a romantic atmosphere that netizens fell in love with while he was trying to get the right feel of the scene.
I thought I should check her vibe while going over the lines, but she helped make the atmosphere romantic, and so the scene came out well.

In the interview, Kang Tae Oh also spoke about a scene that has been praised by netizens.
After their first kiss, Woo Young Woo asked if it was normal for their teeth to knock against each other. Rather than dismiss her concerns, Lee Jun Ho suggested something, adding, “I think it would be better if you opened your mouth a bit more.”
Kang Tae Oh explained that he felt a “burden” during that scene, explaining that the words could be interpreted in different ways, and he needed to find the perfect way to match them to the atmosphere.
The line ‘I think it would be better if you opened your mouth a bit’ was a bit burdensome because I didn’t know what to do with it. The line changes nuances depending on how you say it, so I thought it would be best to check the atmosphere on set.
