Fact Check: MONSTA X, Including Former Member Wonho, Reunited At The Gym

Did we finally get an OT7 MONSTA X reunion?

Like the rest of the MONSTA X members, Wonho joined the group via Mnet‘s survival show No.Mercy, under Starship Entertainment, in 2015.

Yet, he departed from the group in 2019. While Seoul police have since cleared Wonho of all charges after allegations of past drug usage were made against him, he made a difficult decision during the investigation. Concerned that MONSTA X would be affected by the allegations, he chose to leave out of the group’s best interest.

In 2020, Wonho made his solo debut under Highline Entertainment, a subsidiary of Starship Entertainment, a month after he was cleared. Still, MONBEBEs hoped that he could one day rejoin MONSTA X since he was not guilty of any wrongdoing.

Three years later, MONBEBEs continue to patiently wait for an OT7 reunion, and now some think they finally got it.

A recently viral video showcased a muscular man alleged to be Wonho in the gym with MONSTA X members Hyungwon and I.M. The OP (Original Poster) also said that Wonho’s voice could be heard.

It has 165.6K views and 35.1K likes on TikTok at the time of writing. MONBEBEs excitedly commented, celebrating the reunion.

But considering we never fully see Wonho in the video… Is this reunion real?

The video is taken from NU’EST Baekho‘s gym vlog. The person mistaken to be Wonho is a trainer, as proven by the Purple Gym’s Instagram. Previously, Wonho and the MONSTA X members have shared photos from this gym.

Still, some MONBEBEs are convinced they can hear Wonho’s voice in the vlog. There appeared to be a blurred face too.
