Famous Korean Streamer Gets Implicated In Taeil’s Sexual Assault Case, Responds

A famous Korean streamer by the name of Shin Tae Il spoke up after he was implicated in former NCT Taeil‘s recent sex-related crime scandal.

On August 28, 2024 (KST), SM Entertainment released a statement that announced Taeil would no longer be a member of NCT. It was stated that he was under investigation for a sex-related crime.

Following the news, those unfamiliar with K-Pop began to confuse Taeil with an internet streamer called Shin Tae Il. Shin is famous in South Korea, with over 260,000 followers on Instagram.

His original YouTube and AfreecaTV accounts have both been suspended over the years, leading to him being active on Instagram only. Shin Tae Il himself is well known for being involved in controversial activities, including illegal gambling, bitcoin, and more.

Due to Shin’s controversial nature, some assumed him to be the one involved in the sex-related crime scandal. On X, a tweet posted in confusion about the news went viral with over 990,000 views.
