Fan Gets Called Out For Smoking At Seats During “2025 SMTown Live”

SM Entertainment recently hosted 2025 SMTown Live. Groups and artists under the company gathered to perform various songs and remakes.

The concert was a huge success, filling the huge Inspire Stadium in Incheon. Fans were thrilled to see their favorite groups live! One concert-goer put a wet blanket on the fun for others, however, when they were discovered to be smoking an electric cigarette (vape) in the standing seats. A fan nearby caught the concert-goer holding onto their vape.

They witnessed and photographed the concert-goer taking drags of their vape in between acts.

In a now viral tweet, they lament how the concert-goer was not caught by security despite having smoked during all of the five hours of the concert.

Since when did they allow smoking inside the venue? Why did security not catch them when they were smoking for 5 hours straight?

Some complained that the security were not doing their jobs.

The security should be catching these people, instead of dying to catch those trying to take fancams because those are the most well-behaved.

This seems to be a more common occurrence than most would think. Another netizen shared a story of how they witnessed something similar at an EXO concert.

There’s so many people like this though… In 2019, some unnie kept shoving her head in her bag to vape, in the standing area of EXO’s concert LOL. Smoke kept wafting around that area… I thought there was a fire or something.

Most concerts do not allow smoking or vaping in the venue. Instead, there are smoking areas outside designated.
