Fan Gets Criticized For “Cringey” And “Embarrassing” Interaction With TXT’s Yeonjun
TXT is on their North American tour at the moment, which means that fans have been getting the sweetest interactions with the boys during send-offs. Many cute moments stemmed from the send-off sessions, including Yeonjun with a small child…
The way yeonjun greeted the lil kid during send off this is so cute 🥹

One fan took things a little too far with their choice in what to say to him. As send-offs are time-crunched, fans can only squeeze in a sentence or two in between getting their items autographed. This particular fan chose to ask him a question that has been going viral on social media recently. Stemming from the lyrics of Tinashe’s “Nasty”, teens on social media have been trending the phrase “match [one’s] freak.”
The fan in question chose to ask him, “are you going to match my freak?” Yeonjun’s smile drops quickly, and a longer version of the interaction showed that he began randomly singing instead.
him ignoring them asking him to match their freak and just singing that jason mraz song i’m on the floorhttps://t.co/xnjCJUcAbx

Although it was probably an innocuous reenactment of a trending phrase or meme, other fans fairly pointed out that the meme probably has yet to reach South Korea.
