In a viral video with over 3 million views, a screaming fan called for ZEROBASEONE‘s Kim Jiwoong to leave the group. The incident occurred during the group’s performance at the 2024 Hanteo Music Awards.

They were heard clearly during the ending pose of the performance as it was captured by the camera during the live stream. Their loud shrieks of “Leave the group, leave the group, please,” were audible as the house lights darkened. Even the cheers from other fans could not drown them out.
Other fans called the show messy, for the amount of chaos that occured during the show.

The extreme actions of this fan comes in light of his recent controversy. Kim Jiwoong allegedly cursed during a videocall fansign. Kim Jiwoong faced criticism after he allegedly cursed during a videocall fansign. Later, his agency denied that it was him.
