Fans Are Concerned By Disturbing Comments And Death Threats Towards TXT’s Beomgyu and Hueningkai
Content Warning
K-Pop idols are often the recipients of high praise and love from their fans. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true with many idols receiving scary messages and worse from anonymous users online. TXT‘s Beomgyu and Hueningkai are the latest targets of threats from online users.
On the Weverse social platform, fans are able to leave messages that idols are able to see and respond to. Concerned fans have spotted users leaving graphic depictions of violence they allegedly plan to take against Beomgyu and Hueningkai during the US leg of TXT’s 2022 TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT : LOVE SICK> tour.

Additionally, fans have also begun reaching out to the individual venues where TXT will be performing during their time in the US, with some venues appearing to respond and assure fans that the utmost care is being taken with this situation.
Moas please call up all the venues. I believe the Rosemond and Fox theater already responded. Let’s call in for the other theaters and send emails. Especially for the ones in California (San Jose and LA) let’s make sure those are filled with tight security as well! #txt #moa https://t.co/YWcJVwaq5H
