Fans Debunk Clubbing Allegations Made Against SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu

Fans attempt to disprove the claims.

SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu was recently accused of being spotted at a club with girls. According to screenshots of a conversation shared between a club manager and their acquaintance, he had been there partying and drinking, asking for girls to be brought to his table.

After the allegations went viral with over 2.1 million views, fans worked quickly to debunk the accusations. Although the date of his club visit was not specified, the accusations were posted on the dawn of July 29, 2024, continuing from July 28. Fans found that on July 28, Mingyu had had a busy day, communicating with fans on Weverse and working out at the gym.

Not only that, but a quick zoom into the “proof video” from the club manager showed that it was hard to tell if the man in question looked like Mingyu.

The account who had first posted the accusations was also accused of lying. Their header was also a giveaway that they hold malicious intent towards Mingyu, with it being headlines of his Itaewon controversy during COVID-19’s peak. The keywords in bold include “club” and “Mingyu,” hinting that the account likely searched those two words in the news to purposely bring up the matter.

Fans have also accused the account of purposely spreading negative news about SEVENTEEN on multiple accounts. The account has since been set to private.
