Fans Disappointed As F(x)’s Victoria “Cringes” At Her Own Song

F(x) member Victoria’s recent public appearance has become a hot topic online.

On September 4, Victoria attended an event organized by Kiehl in Shanghai, China. She was joined by (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi on the stage.

As the two idols stood side by side, the venue played some iconic hits by F(x), including “Hot Summer.” As soon as the track started playing, Yuqi enthusiastically started dancing to it. But fans were amused to see how Victoria seemed nonchalant to the song. Even though she joined Yuqi for a brief moment, it did not look like a very enthusiastic participation.

Some also speculated that the buzz created due to this clip probably forced Victoria to acknowledge the 15^th debut anniversary of F(x), which was on September 5.

Though the reason behind Victoria’s lukewarm reaction to the song cannot be pinpointed, it would be unfair to dismiss her attachment to the group’s legacy. Even a year ago, she posted a dance cover of this very song, which many fans were quick to note.
