Fans Concerned After IVE’s Wonyoung Seen “Hurting” Herself To Stay Awake During Concert
IVE member Wonyoung’s fans are yet again alarmed by possible signs of her being overworked.
A few days ago, when the idol was spotted with a sheet mask on her face at an airport, many criticized her agency for packing up her schedule so tightly that she didn’t even have time to take care of her skin properly. Now, fans are even more disturbed after seeing a video where Wonyoung is supposedly pinching herself to stay awake during her group’s concert.

On March 7, a video of Wonyoung filmed most likely during IVE’s latest concert in Singapore, went viral on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. In the video, she could be seen sitting on stage with a perfect posture but with a rather tired expression. Her hands appeared to be pinching her thighs quite hard multiple times.
The video, which has garnered over 3.5 million views on Weibo alone, has become a hot topic among netizens. While many expressed their admiration for Wonyoung’s professionalism, there was also criticism about Starship Entertainment overworking her to the point of exhaustion.
