ARMYs Feel BTS’s Jimin And Suga Were Unjustly Snubbed At The “2023 Billboard Music Awards”
The 2023 Billboard Music Awards (also known as the 2023 BBMAs) were held on Sunday night, and some of our favorite K-Pop artists were nominated.
ARMYs were especially excited for BTS‘s nominations. Suga was nominated for “Top K-Pop Touring Artist,” Jimin for “Top Global K-Pop Artist,” Jimin’s “Like Crazy” for “Top Global K-Pop Song” and “Top Selling Song,” Jungkook‘s “Seven (feat. Latto)” for “Top Global K-Pop Song,” and Jimin’s FACE for “Top K-Pop Album.”

Yet, Jungkook was the only one of the BTS members who won his nomination, making history.

While ARMYs were happy for Jungkook, many were disappointed that neither Jimin nor Suga won their well-deserved nominations. Some even suggested the award show was “rigged.”

While Suga only received a nomination for his SUGA | Agust D ‘D-DAY’ Tour, ARMYs pointed out that it was a historic tour deserving of recognition. Suga’s tour sold out in a matter of minutes!

Not giving him his deserved award when he was the reason for such an award category in the first place, is a new but very expected low from western award shows. But D-Day tour by Agust D | SUGA you are iconic 🔥

ARMYs are flabbergasted that although Jimin was the most nominated Korean artist at The BBMAs, he did not win anything. They noted that his solo music made many significant achievements, well-deserving of a win. So, they feel he was totally snubbed.
