With HYBE LABELS currently under fire due to the feud against ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin, the fandom of the girl group fromis_9 has decided to hold a three-day protest against Pledis Entertainment, which is under HYBE Labels.

The Flover Global Alliance felt that the group’s treatment had changed since Lee Da Hye became CEO in 2022. In addition to truck protests, they protested online using the hashtags #이다혜_플레디스_직무유기_해명해 (LeeDaHye_explain_dereliction_of_duty) and #플레디스_구체적인_활동계획_발표해 (PLEDIS_announce_detailed_promotions) and an official notice.
According to the alliance’s English notice, they felt that the group’s support and promotions had drastically decreased since the appointment of Lee Da Hye as CEO.
- Decreased frequency and quality of official content uploads
- Unannounced comeback delay and communication blockade in March 2023
- Poor support during the 1st album ‘Unlock My World’ activities
- Insufficient promotion using official accounts and press releases
- Neglect of overseas fandoms
- Frequent reuse of stage outfits
They demanded for Lee Da Hye and PLEDIS to make the following changes:
- Lee Da Hye must stop making hollow promises, issuing empty promises, and deceiving the fandom, and release a detailed plan on how she is supporting fromis_9 and how she plans to support them.
- She must explain why Pledis has reduced or stopped supporting fromis_9’s activities since her appointment as CEO.
- She must demonstrate through her actions that she is not the CEO of Pledis because she is a close associate of Bang Si Hyuk, HYBE’s chairman, as she was the vice president of Big Hit Music.
Fans were upset and couldn’t understand why they were treating the group like this even when they had voiced how much they want to perform and make a comeback.
