Fans Rejoice As Continually Robbed Group Win First Daesang Award
ENHYPEN just took home their first grand prize!
Over their years of activities, ENHYPEN have proven themselves time and time again, earning achievement after achievement. However, one level of award eluded the group, despite arguments that they had earned it — a Daesang, or grand prize.
Fans believed that the group were robbed on multiple occasions, citing voting results and music performance as evidence.
However, a recent event changed things!
On February 22, the 1st D AWARDs took place, and honored a number of K-Pop acts. ENHYPEN were in attendance, and also performed during the event.
During the event, ENHYPEN claimed four different awards, “Best Tour,” “Best Group,” “Best Boy Group UPICK Popularity Award,” “Delights Blue Label” before the grand prizes of the year were awarded.

According to the event’s organizer, there were seven grand prizes to be awarded. After weeks of suspense, fans hopes were finally realized as ENHYPEN were announced winners of “Album Of The Year,” marking their first Daesang!
ENHYPEN were also the most awarded group of the night, another fact that only made the achievement even more special to fans.
