On July 24, a netizen shared that some Chinese ENGENEs had sent trucks to HYBE to tel; the members to work harder. In the two signs, they read:

  • Enhypen dance x singing x attitude x
(Word unable to be seen) o being friendly with other groups o being dry o
  • The other 4th generation idols are all improving lots but if ENHYPEN is just going to screw up your idol life like this, then just go home.

When the photos were sent, some believed it was due to allegations of lipsyncing during a recent performance, how they understood the intention behind the trucks, and why fans might feel disappointed.

Other fans hit back at the criticism, saying that it didn’t represent all Chinese ENGENEs and that the members didn’t deserve the criticism considering the jam-packed schedules they have had and how hard they’ve been working.
