Yet, new photos of NCT‘s Jaehyun from October 7 have circulated, and NCTzens are comparing him to a vampire for the most unexpected reason.
Jaehyun attended the premiere of his new movie, You Will Die In 6 Hours, on October 7. It is adapted from Kazuaki Takano‘s novel of the same name.
Jeong-Yoon (Park Ju-Hyun) walks down a street, when a stranger stops her and tells her that she will die in 6 hours. The stranger is Joon-Woo (Jaehyun) and he claims to be able to see her future. To change Jeong-Yoon’s future, Jeong-Yoon tries to find the person who will kill her in 6 hours.

Fansite @_4ever0nly214 on X (formerly Twitter) shared photos of their camera screen. So, the pictures of Jaehyun are unedited. Jaehyun was left with red eyes, a phenomenon caused by light reflecting off the retina at the back of one’s eyes, which is usually the result of flash photography in low-light situations.
The photos garnered over 1M views at the time of writing. NCTzens had jokes due to the red eyes, claiming he was a vampire, as vampires are known to have red eyes. Some referenced NCT 127’s “Favorite (Vamprie),” Twilight, and, of course, the iconic Haechan vampire meme. Some were also turned off by the makeup artist, who used the wrong shade for Jaehyun’s complexion.

Jaehyun might actually be a vampire, though. Besides the “Favorite (Vampire)” MV, he did dress up as one Halloween 2021.
