Female Korean Employee Tragically Passes Away After Getting Caught In Office Affair

Tragic news caught the attention of Korean media outlets on November 15 after reports came out that a female employee at Korean Water Resources had taken her own life.
According to reports from various sources, the woman was a deputy manager at the company’s Daejeon headquarters. She had gotten into an extramarital affair with a fellow employee within the company who held a similar position.
The two employees reportedly continued to meet frequently, even going on trips such as golfing together.
Wikitree reports that the female employee’s family first found out about the affair. Both employees had families. When the office affair was eventually exposed to their spouses, the woman decided to take her own life.
Meanwhile, the male employee continues to work at Korean Water Resources in the same position.
The company itself has stated that it has no official position on the matter. The news has rocked netizens and has been a hot topic in the country since it broke out. May she rest in peace.
