The agency gave a vague reasoning.

Fifth generation girl group MADEIN unprecedentedly pushed back their first music video’s release on the very day of their debut.

MADEIN, an upcoming septet under 143 Entertainment, consists of members MashiroMiuSuhyeYeseoGaeunSerina, and Nagomi. Out of these seven, Mashiro and Yeseo are the latest members to joine the group after they left Kep1er, the popular girl group created through Girls Planet 999.

Before Mashio and Yeseo joined the lineup, the rest of the MADEIN members were known by a different name, LIMELIGHT. The group started as a trio of Miu, Suhye, and Gaeun, until Seina and Nagomi joined the lineup after appearing in Produce 101 Japan the Girls. It was only in July 2024 that all the LIMELIGHT social media accounts were rebranded as MADEIN, and their agency announced the group’s debut on September 3, KST, with their first EP and title track, “UNO.”

But on the release day, “UNO” music video was delayed unexpectedly. Less than four hours before the debut music video’s release, MADEIN’s official X account posted a notice informing fans that the release had been pushed back, citing production issues as the reason behind this unexpected decision.

“UNO,” which was scheduled for a 6 pm KST release, was later released at 8 pm, KST.
