FIFTY FIFTY’s Showcase Outfits Hit With Major Backlash
FIFTY FIFTY‘s outfits for their showcase have been hit with serious backlash.
On September 20, FIFTY FIFTY re-debuted with a new lineup, releasing their song “SOS.”
Like most K-Pop groups, FIFTY FIFTY had a showcase for media and when the photos were shared on theqoo, netizens couldn’t get over the outfits, criticizing the styling of the members.
FIFTY FIFTY wore bright and light outfits which seemed to consist of tulle material and different patterns, textures and embellishments.
Each member had her own color and style, and they were definitely very different although seemingly fitted the same fairytale vibes.
They were also the outfits worn when dancing.
When the photos and GIFs were shared, netizens hit back at the styling and one even called it the “ugliest” outfit they’d seen an idol wear recently.
- At first, I wondered, “Are these clothes really stylish?” but they all look the same, lol. The kids are pretty, but what’s up with the outfits, lol.
- The outfit… the tone is so off… Even if they can’t do as well as last time, they should at least dress them nicely. Just judging from the article photos, I don’t think they’ll attract fans… The stylist needs to change ASAP.

The outfits definitely stood out, but seemingly didn’t get the warm reaction from netizens that the company might have expected.
