FIFTY FIFTY’s New Member Goes Viral For Her Actress-like Visuals
FIFTY FIFTY has announced its new lineup ahead of its much-anticipated re-debut, and one of the new members has stirred up a storm online.
The member in question is Yewon, whose introductory teaser was released on August 14, KST.
Right after the debut teaser, Yewon’s pre-debut pictures went viral on the popular community forum, Theqoo. Most of these photos were taken in informal settings, showing Yewon’s face without the typical idol makeup.
Yewon was also a popular contestant on BELIFT LAB’s survival audition show R U Next. She finished at rank 18 and was eliminated on the sixth episode.

A post praising Yewon’s visual on Theqoo has garnered over 70,000 views at the time of writing. There seems to be a consensus among netizens that she has the typical “actress-like” face, though there are different opinions about which actress she resembles. Some of the names that have come up include Jang Da Ah and Sung Yu Ri.
