FIFTY FIFTY’s New Members Allegedly Identified As Popular Survival Show Contestants Following Teaser
As legal issues ensued between several of the original members of FIFTY FIFTY and their company, ATTRAKT, three of the group’s members had their contracts terminated, leaving the group.
Keena has been the sole member of FIFTY FIFTY over the last several months, with it promised that the group would add new members and return.
On July 9, netizens got a first look at the new members through multiple posts on Keena’s birthday.
This resulted in much more speculation about their identities, with fans fearing that a trainee from a recent survival show may have been added to the line-up.
Fans Fear Popular Survival Show Contestant Is A New Member of FIFTY FIFTY
However, new evidence points to not one but two popular trainees being a part of FIFTY FIFTY’s new line-up, according to netizens.
On July 23, FIFTY FIFTY shared a teaser for their upcoming activities.
In the short clip, only Keena’s face can been seen in full, as the new members run around to hide from her. Part of the new members faces are shown sporadically, making it a bit difficult to get a full picture of what they look like.
Even with this difficulty, some netizens believe they have figured out who two of the newer members are.
Near the beginning of the clip, one member’s entire side profile can be seen, though it is blurry.
This has been guessed to be Son Yewon, a trainee who competed in R U Next? Yewon ultimately made it to the six episode, but was eliminated and placed 18th overall.
The other new member that has been identified by netizens is another R U Next? competitor, Chanelle. Chanelle was a global fan favorite, whose elimination left many viewers heartbroken and hopeful that she would eventually debut in the future.
While an eliminated trainee’s debut would usually be highly welcomed, many are disappointed that Chanelle and Yewon might be the new members.
