Filipina Star Melai Gains Attention For Her Humorous Interview During The “2023 Asia Artist Awards”

December 14 saw stars from Korea and across Asia come together for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards. While all the stars shined with their visuals and performances, one Filipina star made netizens LOL with her hilarious behavior, and it’s actress, comedian, and host, Melai Cantiveros.

As expected, Melai stunned on the red carpet in her beautifully dramatic pink and black dress.

Yet, along with looking stunning, Malei made sure to make netizens LOL, especially when she was interviewed by host IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung. At the start of her interview, Melai greeted all the fans in many languages.

When asked how she felt about attending, Melai explained how much of an honor it was, even comparing it to feeling like a valedictorian.

Wonyoung then asked if there were any stars that she wanted to meet.

Melai got very excited, thanking the crowds for their support, that she almost forgot to answer the question. Yet, she quickly got back on track, explaining that one was none other than actor Kim Seon Ho.

It seems that she might have caught a glimpse of Kim Seon Ho, and her reaction was truly iconic.

She also mentioned NewJeans, adding how much her daughter loved them.

When the clips were shared online, netizens couldn’t get enough of the interactions between Melai and Wonyoung, particularly how unserious and hilarious she was in front of a home crowd.

If her interview wasn’t hilarious enough, fans in the arena caught the adorable moment Kim Seon Ho and NewJeans heard themselves get mentioned by the successful celebrity.
