On December 14, the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAAs) took place in the Philippines, celebrating a year of music and entertainment.

Several Filipino stars were in attendance, including actress Kathryn Bernardo and actor Daniel Padilla.

Kathryn Bernardo And Daniel Padilla, known as KathNiel to fans, were a “love team” that got their start together in 2011. A love team is when two stars are often paired together for romantic roles.

The KathNiel break-up quickly became a hot topic online, leading many to investigate who the former couple were. Viral videos of fans reacting to the news showed just how popular the love team is together and separately.

The AAAs were the former couple’s second public appearance since the break-up, and fans were grateful to see the pair together. Bernardo and Padilla were both recipients of the “Fabulous Award (Television)” and shared the stage for their acceptance.

However, an interaction off-stage between the pair has since gone viral.

While in the audience, Padilla can be seen walking to a seated Bernardo with a coat, which he then helps her wrap around herself.

This moment and another showing the pair walking with Padilla’s arm around Bernardo have gone viral on multiple platforms. The previous video has over 1.6 million on Twitter and 5.1 million on TikTok, while the other has 1.7 million on TikTok.
