Fire At M! Countdown Filming Studio Results In aespa’s Comeback Recording Cancellation
The filming was cancelled for their safety.
A fire occurring at M! Countdown‘s set has resulted in aespa‘s comeback stage recording being canceled.
According to an exclusive report from Joy News24, a fire broke out on the set of M! Countdown early in the morning of May 16. The report said the fire occurred due to an issue with the filming set itself.
Due to the incident, aespa’s pre-recording for their “Supernova” comeback was canceled as the members, including Winter who recently suffered from pneumothorax, complained of the poor condition of the set.
aespa pre-release single “Supernova” was released on May 13 while their first full album Armageddon will be released on May 27. Neither SM Entertainment nor M! Countdown have stated when their pre-recording will resume.
