Fans Bombard SM Entertainment With Wreaths Protesting RIIZE Seunghan’s Return
On October 11, 2024, it was announced that RIIZE‘s Seunghan would be rejoining group activities. This comes after a hiatus of slightly under a year. He was announced to be taking a break from promotions in November 2023.
While many fans have rejoiced, there are also a huge portion who do not agree with his return. The latter have taken to sending flower wreaths in protest to SM Entertainment.
- “RIIZE is 6. Hong Seunghan Out.”
- “Hong Seunghan, leave the group.”
- “RIIZE has 6 members. Hong Seunghan OUT.”
The wreaths grew in numbers throughout the day.
- “Freeloader Hong Seunghan OUT.”
- “From. BRIIZE. Freerider Hong Seunghan OUT.”
The wreaths were delivered to an area near the base of the company building. It was soon crowded with various wreaths.
The delivery company for wreaths could not find space to park them, leaving them no choice but to put up an emergency notice rejecting further requests for delivery until the next day.
Emergency notice. Due to a surge in orders, we will close orders for delivery to SM Entertainment in Seoul Seongdong-gu for today. You can make orders from 12pm onwards on October and we will do same-day delivery for them. Sorry to give you trouble.

It seems like many are displeased at the company’s final decision to reinstate Seunghan.
