Alleged Former YG Entertainment Employee Threatens To Leak Sensitive Information From Major K-Pop Agencies

Not everyone believes the threats.

On March 30, several clips allegedly showing the members of BLACKPINK using the N-word in pre-debut videos surfaced online.

These leaks have been connected to a user on the social platform Discord and a chatroom where these alleged leaks were initially shared. The user, whose screen name is YG Leaker, initially shared that they were doing all this because they had been fired from the company.

They commented that the company was full of “mobbing, racism, and sexism.”

Additionally, they claimed to have media and sensitive data from other agencies, including SM Entertainment, HYBE, and JYP Entertainment, implying that other agencies were also included.

Along with this information, the user also shared a song demo alleged to be for NCT 127.

The alleged leaker has also claimed that they are actually Gurumi, an alleged leaker notoriously known for “exposing” BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS V‘s relationship. Gurumi shared multiple photos alleged to be of the couple as proof of their relationship.

According to “YG Leaker,” they received a cease and desist as a result.

Many netizens have shared their thoughts on the threats, with some feeling as though it is bad news for K-Pop as a whole.

Others have expressed doubts over the authenticity of what has been released so far, and what the alleged leaker has said they will release.

YG Entertainment has not addressed the claims as of writing.
