Netizens Accuse A Former Idol Of Allegedly “Mocking” aespa Karina’s Dating News With Lee Jae Wook
On February 27, Dispatch revealed the dating news between aespa‘s Karina and actor Lee Jae Wook.
The outlet revealed images of the two, claiming they were in the early stages of getting to know each other, which was later confirmed by the two companies.
On February 28, former OH MY GIRL member JinE shared an Instagram story, and it gained attention because the caption read, “karina karina karina nanrina (there’s an uproar) ㅋㅋ”
When the post was shared online, netizens immediately assumed she was referring to Karina’s news. Although it is alleged, as there is no confirmation it is about Karina and the news, the timing seemed poor on JinE’s part, so it wasn’t surprising that fans were angry. Many also that while it was poor timing and choice of words, JinE didn’t deserve the disgusting comments that are being left on her account.

While many people have commented on Karina’s dating news, it felt uncalled for that someone who was in the industry would make a comment like that. Whether it was maliciously intended or not, it’s not surprising that fans are angry as the timing didn’t seem appropriate.
