Former KARA Member Kang Jiyoung Celebrates The Group’s 13th Anniversary With A Heartfelt Post

Former KARA member Kang Jiyoung has tugged on the heartstrings of all of their fans. The former girl group member recently uploaded a touching anniversary post to celebrate KARA’s 13 year anniversary.

With a photo of the 5 members of the girl group from their “Pretty Girl” promotions, Kang Jiyoung shared this caption:

The following photo featured a much younger Kang Jiyoung and Goo Hara, which was also from their 2008 “Pretty Girl” promotions.

KARA made their original debut back in 2007 as a quartet with 4 members. However, following the departure of Sunghee in early 2008, DSP Media revealed that they would be adding two new members to the group — who happened to be Kang Jiyoung and Goo Hara. The girl group “re-debuted” with their new members as a 5-member group in July 2008 with “Rock U.”

It’s been 13 years since their debut and fans couldn’t help but share their celebrations for the anniversary.
