Former MOMOLAND’s Nancy Set To Make Another Debut

Former MOMOLAND member Nancy is reportedly set to return to the entertainment industry, but not as an idol.

According to an OSEN report from April 8, KST, Nancy has been cast in a new movie, Pig Valley. This will mark her debut on the big screen as an actress!
Pig Valley, an action-thriller set in Texas, USA, has garnered attention as actor Ma Dong Seok‘s global project. The story revolves around Hammer, a former professional boxer, who decides to go after a bag of money tied to a criminal organization. Ma Dong Seok has taken the lead in planning and writing the story,, as well as producing it. He is also taking the lead role.

The movie is expected to be a milestone in Nancy’s career, marking her full transition into acting. Though she had previously acted in a web series in 2017, this will mark her first serious role in a major production. Since she is a fluent English speaker, Nancy is expected to fit the role well. Fans are excited to see how she performs in her new role as a big-screen actress.
Pig Valley is directed by Lee Sang Yong, who also created 10-million-ticket box office hits The Roundup and The Roundup: No Way Out. Given the big names attached to the project, Nancy’s debut on the big screen is expected to be a box-office success.
Meanwhile, Nancy debuted as the youngest member of MOMOLAND in 2016, gaining popularity for her doll-like visuals. In January 2023, all members ended their contracts with their agency, leading to the disbandment of MOMOLAND. Nancy subsequently signed an exclusive contract with ATOC in 2024, launching her solo career.
