Former NCT’s Lucas Shares First Photos Of Himself In Nearly Three Years — Sporting An Unexpected Look
NCT‘s Lucas recently shared the first full photo of himself in years.
In 2022, Lucas was at the center of a gaslighting and cheating scandal that would result in him being placed on an indefinite hiatus. In late May 2023, after nearly two years of an extended hiatus due to gaslighting allegations, it was announced that Lucas would leave WAYV and NCT.
Since then, there have been surprise appearances from the idol, including at other SM Entertainment artists’ concerts.

With the opening of his personal Dear U. Bubble channel, it was apparent that SM Entertainment had plans for the idol, but there were no strong indications of his return to the spotlight.

In late February, eagle-eyed netizens discovered a hint at Lucas’ next moves in the form of an official SM-affiliated account appearing on X (formerly Twitter). Just days later, confirmation would come from the idol himself.
The discovered X account’s username changed to @lucas_official, and sported a a new photo of the idol, showing him with long hair.
The idol shared a full photo of himself on his Instagram account with a four-leaf clover as the caption. The image received over 2 million likes in less than ten hours as fans commented, welcoming the idol back.
Previously, Chris Lee shared now-deleted images of the idol on Instagram around a year ago, but this is the first update from the idol himself.
On Bubble, Lucas all but confirmed his upcoming activities, asking fans to support him in the future.
Please show me a lot of support. I ask for your support in the future. I promise to do my best.
