Former PRISTIN and I.O.I member, Kyulkyung has exciting news for all her fans.
On April 14, it has been revealed that the former girl group member was cast in the upcoming Chinese remake of popular Korean movie, Sunny. Kyulkyung was cast as one of the main roles and will be portraying the chic character that Min Hyo Rin played in the original Korean movie.
The teaser for the Chinese remake, Sunny Sisters was officially released and fans have been getting pumped after seeing Kyulkyung in the clip.
Since her departure from Pledis Entertainment back in 2019, Kyulkyung has been active in China as an actress and has been in two different dramas. She has also been busy appearing on numerous different variety programs, proving her popularity.
In related news, it was recently reported that I.O.I would be having a reunion to celebrate their 5-year anniversary in May, but due to Kyulkyung’s activities in China, she may be unable to attend.
Sunny Sisters is set to premiere on June 11 in China. You can check out the teaser down below.
