Former Girl Group Member To Take On Main Role In New Interactive Short-Form Drama
Former PRISTIN member Park Siyeon has been cast as the lead role for an interactive short-form drama, Sharehouse (literal title).
She also shared her thoughts on being cast as the main character.
I will give my all while filming to bring you a unique role in a new drama style. Please look forward to my new adventure through this drama.
— Park Siyeon
This drama has been released on the short-form platform StoryReels since October 18 and is a mobile-only vertical drama based on a romance web novel and game.
It is a unique format that includes 47 main episodes and 15 interactive episodes, in which users can choose the story from their perspective.
This drama is based on a dating program in which users appear with their ex-lovers. The winner is whoever has the highest score at the end.
Park Siyeon first appeared on Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 1 in 2016 and debuted through PRISTIN.
However, although it rose in popularity, the group went on hiatus for over two years for no particular reason before disbanding in 2019. After disbanding, Park started her acting career and has been involved in many different works.
