Rapper Zizoa former contestant on the popular Hip-Hop survival show Show Me The Money 2, recently opened up about his financial struggles ten years into his career.

On October 1, Zizo appeared as a guest on the MBC show All Grown But Not Moving Out and shared stories about his day-to-day life. The rapper confessed that he still lives with his parents, highlighting how expensive real estate in Seoul is.

Zizo went on to talk about his career, sharing the excitement and anxieties around his new projects.

I’m working on some good projects, but I worry whether people will care once they’re released.

Zizo also shared the unfiltered reality of his financial situation. “These days, my earnings aren’t great,” he confessed, revealing that he was currently surviving on a monthly income of ₩1.00 million KRW (about $750 USD). The rapper admitted that his workflow has slowly reduced, going from performing three shows a day to appearing as a guest on a radio show once a week.

It’s tough to make ends meet, and sometimes I live on less than 1 Million.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old rapper appeared on Show Me The Money 2 in 2012 and was the runner-up of that season. In 2014, he released his first EP, Nice Service 1/2, which was followed by multiple singles and collaborations with notable rappers like Zico, San E, and Haha.
