With this, former member Hwayoung was upset at his statements and released an Instagram post as a response.

Former T-ARA’s Hwayoung Blasts Former CEO After His Comments On The Infamous Bullying Scandal

Most recently, she took to Instagram again to update and clarify several misunderstandings.

“This is former T-ARA member Hwayoung. I sincerely apologize for causing concern to the public due to the recent ’T-ARA bullying’ incident. For the past 12 years, my family and I have endured countless speculations, false rumors, malicious comments, groundless accusations, threats, and harassment. Although I have gone through this with a heavy heart, I hope everyone can understand that I cannot stay silent anymore and decided to post about it on my Instagram.

After posting my statement last week, I waited for an apology more than anything. However, I have decided to expect nothing from CEO Kim Kwang Soo or the members as they have not released anything.

However, I take comfort in knowing that my sister and I were able to talk about the truth and clear up many misunderstandings and accusations.

With this, I have decided to post an additional explanation.

First, my sister sent a text message to Areum because, at that time, I was taking care of the new member like a sister, but because I was hurt by the strife between the members and Areum, my sister sent a message to Areum.

My sister and Areum apologized and reconciled several years ago.

But, Kim Kwang Soo spread my sister’s text message on TV without confirmation, using it maliciously for personal gain, and caused damage to me, my sister, and Areum.

Second, Kim Kwang Soo knew I was being bullied but turned a blind eye. Everyone refused to be my roommate, so I slept in the living room, and the countless verbal abuse and assaults still remain my biggest scar from the incident.

Third is the comment about shampoo made by Kim Woori, the T-ARA stylist close to Kim Kwang Soo.

I want to fix the malicious comments that are still bothering me now.

A staff member in charge of T-ARA talked badly about me on a variety show with a made-up story. Although Kim Woori was a stylist for T-ARA, she was not the stylist in charge when I joined the group.

I have never met or talked with Kim Woori. Kim Woori appeared on a show and said that I said, ‘Shampoo~let’s go’ to a hair staff and stated that I had a personality issue.

The statement, ‘She came in as a new member with no guidelines or manners, and I can tell you firmly about the T-ARA controversy.’ saying that T-ARA did nothing wrong is false.

To be exact, I have never been to the hair shop Kim Woori mentioned, and I am a stranger to the interviewers. This was a planned video and is a clear case of defamation.

After revealing this as false on Instagram, Kim Woori blamed the broadcasting company for horrible editing. Although it may be nothing to Kim Woori, I still suffer from malicious comments because of the ‘shampoo’ incident.

I think bullying is no different from murder in our society.

My sister and I wish for nothing more than to just forget about this. I don’t understand why Kim Kwang Soo is making this story public again. We want to reveal the truth to prevent further speculation and malicious comments.

For our own sake, we will forgive Kim Kwang Soo and the members, and I will work even harder to recover from the pain we have received.

I will end this by saying that I will take strong legal action against spreading false information for me and my family. Thank you for reading the long post.”
