Fourth-Gen Idol Shares Why Her Stylists Cut Her Eyelashes
NMIXX’s Sullyoon recently talked about her bizarre struggle with her eyelashes.
When it comes to visuals, Sullyoon is a crowd favorite in Korea, with her innocent and pure beauty. She has gone viral simply for looking ethereal on and off stage and is often said to be on the “top tier” in the visual department along with her peers like Wonyoung from IVE and Karina from aespa.
It turns out every single feature of Sullyoon’s face has been abundantly blessed, even her eyelashes!
On August 26, NMIXX members Lily, Haewon, Bae, Jiwoo, Kyujin, and Sullyoon appeared as special guests on MBC FM4U’s Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope to promote their latest comeback.
NMIXX’s new album name is Fe3O4: STICK OUT, which led to the host of the show asking Sullyoon if she had anything about her that stuck out like the album title suggested. The singer then surprisingly revealed that her stand-out feature is her long eyelashes. Her stylist has to routinely trim them to keep them in check!
I have very long eyelashes. So makeup artists often trim them because they poke into the eyes. I feel like my eyelashes stand out more than anything. They said they’re longer than false lashes.

Her co-member Haewon chimed in with regret and envy, saying, “I’m so jealous of people like her. My eyelashes are short and droopy.”
