French Publication Under Fire For “Disrespectful” Review Of BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” Concert
BLACKPINK is in the midst of their BORN PINK encore shows as their world tour comes to a close.
The group has seven shows remaining on their tour, and they have broken records and made history with ticket sales, the venues they’ve played, and more throughout their 57 completed BORN PINK shows.
The group very recently made history as the first girl group to headline stadium concerts on three continents and became the first girl group to headline a sold-out show at France’s national stadium, Stade De France.

BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK show at Stade De France was on July 15, and the group stunned netizens with all-new outfits, high-energy performances, and adorable interactions between the members and fans.
While BLINKs enjoyed the sold-out concert, French publication Le Parisien stated the group’s show was “not up to par” in a review piece that quickly garnered backlash from netizens, who felt it was unprofessional and disrespectful.

ma'am @MariePoussel if you can't be professional, you don't like your job or you don't like kpop just pass the article to someone better dedicated to the job or better do your journalistic work. And you @le_Parisien hire a better journalist

The opening caption of the Le Parisien article stated that BLACKPINK’s two-hour show delighted fans, but not the publication, before launching into describing “lots of tears” from “loud” fans and “teenage girls” with “garters visible under mini-skirts.”

The publication then compared BLACKPINK’s achievements to fellow global group BTS, who the article labeled the “male equivalent” of BLACKPINK, which BLINKs felt was undermining BLACKPINK’s achievements as they slammed the journalist’s “misogynistic and xenophobic” tone throughout the article.

Me parece poco profesional y de mal gusto por parte de un periodista, el hecho de que literalmente le falto el respeto a un grupo, haciendo un artículo con comentarios xenofobicos, misóginos Etc…

Further, the article expressed doubts that the group would be able to fill the Stade De France, stating it would be hard for them to believe if they did.
In their article, they denied that the stadium was full and stated that parts of the stands were covered in cloth while sections to the sides of the stage were empty.
Despite the article’s claims, the Stade De France BORN PINK show was sold out, and BLINKs shared numerous videos and photographs taken at their historic show while calling out the publication for spreading false information.

BLINKs are demanding an apology from the publication.
as well as being professional you need to have respect, and in your article you had neither of these, what blackpink did last night in YOUR country was an achievement for kpop and the fans, and you have only criticized.
WE ARE PROUD OF YOU BLACKPINK

Vraiment la honte quoi. Un show designé pour Coachella, acclamé par la presse mondiale, une superbe énergie et un public de malade, et c'est France que ça se passe. La honte, la honte.
