fromis_9's Lee Seoyeon To Sit Out Comeback Promotions Due To Leg Injury

fromis_9‘s Lee Seoyeon will not be participating in the group’s upcoming comeback.

On September 10, the group’s agency Off The Record Entertainment uploaded a tweet to fromis_9’s official Twitter account, where they made the announcement of Seoyeon’s injury and subsequent withdrawal from promotions.

In their statement, they apologized for bringing bad news to flover (fromis_9’s fandom name), and announced that Seoyeon had suffered an injury while preparing for their comeback. After visiting the hospital, Seoyeon was recommended sufficient rest to make a full recovery, and would therefore be sitting out promotions.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to flover for waiting for fromis_9’s third mini-album My Little Society, and we are sorry to deliver bad news.

Lee Seoyeon recently had a leg injury during the preparation for the album promotion. She went to a hospital immediately and underwent a thorough medical examination.

They also mentioned that though Seoyeon wanted to continue with promotions herself, the agency decided her good health was paramount and announced that fromis_9 would carry out comeback promotions as 8 in the meantime.

According to the expert’s opinion that she needs to focus on treatment and recovery, we have decided to continue the third mini-album promotion with only eight members of fromis_9, excluding the injured artist.

Although she had a strong will to continue to do the album promotion, we have put the artist’s recovery first and have decided as above.
