FTISLAND’s Minhwan To Halt All Activities Amid His Prostitution Scandal
FNC Entertainment has released a statement regarding FTISLAND member Choi Minhwan‘s recent scandal, as exposed by his ex-wife and former LABOUM member Yulhee.
On October 25, 2024 (KST), FNC Entertainment stated, “While it is difficult for [them] to fully grasp the personal matters related to the couple,” the idol has expressed desire to halt all activities.
While it is difficult for us to fully grasp the personal matters related to the couple, Choi Minhwan feels a sense of responsibility for disappointing many fans and viewers and wishes to suspend all media activities, including the broadcasts he appears in with his children.

FNC Entertainment also apologized, saying, “We are sorry for causing disappointment and concern to many.” The statement is assumed to hint that Choi Minhwan will be leaving KBS‘s popular program, The Return of Superman, where he currently appears with his children.
The Return of Superman then confirmed with Chosun Biz that Choi Minhwan will be leaving the program, noting that no additional episodes had been filmed.
Choi Minhwan has decided to leave the show, and there are no pre-recorded segments.

FTISLAND has a concert scheduled for October 26, 2024 in Kaohsiung City in Taiwan. As of now, it is unclear whether the concert will be held as planned.
Yulhee released damning audio recordings on October 24, 2024 (KST), said to be the evidence of Choi Minhwan’s frequent visits to adult establishments for prostitution. She also accused him of sexual harassment, alleging that he touched her inappropriately in front of family members.
