F.T Island’s Minhwan Answers Fan’s Detailed Probe About His Allegedly Incriminating Voice Recordings
F.T Island‘s Minhwan was previously accused of having cheated on his ex-wife with prostitution. He denied allegations despite his ex-wife posting detailed voice recordings about the matter.
One such voice recording had Minhwan ask an acquaintance to prepare some items for his hotel room.
Choi Minhwan: “Hyung, sorry to bother you when you’re resting.”
?: “It’s okay, go ahead.”
Choi Minhwan: “Hyung, I need two toothbrushes and that. Please prepare it in advance. Two toothbrushes and that, and also two hangover drinks.”
In relation to the recording, a fan probed Minhwan about the items on Weverse.
Fan: “You said that you went to the hotel because you wanted to be alone. So why did you ask for two of X and two of Y to be prepared? Did you not know how to book the hotel by yourself too? Do you not have booking apps? And you said you didn’t do prostitution, but why is it that you can’t seem to say that you’ve never been to adult establishments?”
Minhwan: “I don’t know what X and Y are, but wouldn’t that be toothbrushes and hangover drinks? I don’t know if I can say this, but I’ve had a vasectomy for years so I don’t need a condom, and as for the toothbrush, it’s so common for hygiene. Why are you curious about it?”
