FTISLAND’s Hongki almost threw his laptop upon hearing criticisms from FNC Entertainment’s CEO
On April 1st, popular talk show Radio Star will be airing an episode featuring FTISLAND’s Lee Hongki, in which the vocalist will reveal his interactions with his agency FNC Entertainment’s CEO Han Sung Ho.
During the talk on Radio Star, Hongki commented on his reaction upon hearing the CEO stating that he likes to get in trouble, saying, “I was in Japan when the show aired. I was so close to throwing my laptop,” surprising everyone with his honesty.
The treatment of FNC Entertainment towards FTISLAND has been a hot topic in recent years, as many view that the agency treats CNBLUE better than FTISLAND, despite FTISLAND’s status as the first profitable group debuted by the agency.
The controversy has been fueled by mysterious messages left by Hongki, as well as the CEO’s comments on Radio Star stating that CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa does not cause any trouble for the company, unlike Hongki.
However, despite the alleged issues, when asked when his contract will expire, Hongki responded with a laugh, “I renewed my contract again. I was deceived,” causing everyone to burst out in laughter.
